Book-Trailers.gifAnimated Trailers — Invented by Persona in 1988

Book Trailers and videos are almost ubiquitous now, although when our famed creative director Kam Wai Yu created the first one in 1988, they didn't exist. Kam is still the best, two decades later, and his trailers are not just for books. Now that research indicates the internet is the number one medium for advertising, trailers are the "in" way to advertise products and services. Play some of Kam's award-winning book, product and service trailers here.

"Persona invented the book trailer in 1988 and in 2007 their videos remain some of the most dramatic and effective trailers."

The Book Standard 2007

"Kam spends weeks on each trailer, not days, carefully scripting, adding sound F/X, building it in proper animation software. And it shows. Each one is a priceless work of art. Each one is memorable. Each one is distinct."

ForeWord Magazine, Publisher Insider, February 2008

Award-Winning Book Design sells books

Packaging design of a different sort, an argument can be made for book covers being the "ultimate" pacakaging designs. No book sells off the shelf without a dazzling, correctly positioned cover that not only grabs attention, but tells a story in one second. Persona's book designs for Penguin, Simon & Schuster and Kunati Books are world famous. They sell books. Publishers report Persona-designed books outsell otherwise "comparable" books. View close ups of book covers here.

"Kunati's book designs are extraordinary. We've never seen anything this good."
